Cabling
Tree Cabling Services
Tree cabling is often used to support weak trees that are at risk of failing. These are a few common reasons why we cable trees:
- To prevent branches from splitting and breaking during a storm
- To stabilize trees with weak structures (commonly seen in trees with weak codominant stems or split trunks)
- To enhance the strength and prolong the lives of sentimental or aesthetically valued trees.
If your tree is leaning or structurally weak, cabling provides essential support to help stabilize it. When used on an otherwise healthy tree, cabling can enhance its strength and extend its lifespan. One of our certified arborists will check on the system every couple of years after the installation to provide updates on the health of the tree and condition of the cables.
